The 2024 Prestige Release marks a 25-Year milestone for Craggy Range and the Peabody Family. This outstanding collection highlights the significance of custodianship, investment and succession, while showing the fidelity of vineyard sites in the Gimblett Gravels and Martinborough. Ben Tombs took over the reigns as chief winemaker in 2023. These wines are his first releases but also reflect teamwork and a successful transition from a technical perspective. 2024 Craggy Range Les Beaux Cailloux Chardonnay, Gimblett Gravels – Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
Pale colour. Expressive flinty grapefruit, tonic water aromas with sea breezy notes. Well concentrated and creamy textured with fresh grapefruit, bitter lemon flavours, fine loose knit silky tannins, underlying crème brulée, vanilla notes and fresh crisp acidity.
